How to care for e-scooter?

An electric scooter is a great partner for the city and weekend trips. If you're looking for a reliable model that can handle city commuting as well as longer trips, we definitely recommend the LAMAX eCruiser SC30. It has comfortable 10" inflatable wheels, a range of up to 50 km, and a safety combination of electric and disc brakes, making it an ideal choice for everyday use. Whether you ride it often or just occasionally, proper care is key to ensure it lasts as long as possible.

Basic rules for scooter care:

🔹 Charge regularly, ideally after every ride
🔹 Never let the battery run down completely – it shortens its lifespan
🔹 Beware of water and rain – it's harmful to electronic devices
🔹 Do not charge the scooter for 24 hours after contact with water
🔹 Avoid riding over curbs and bumps, which can damage the frame and wheels
🔹 Do not expose the battery to extreme temperatures
🔹 Tighten all screws once a month
🔹 After 1,000 km or one season, get a full service

Check wheels and brakes

Wheels

Always check correct tyre pressure and ensure bolts are tight before each ride. Proper pressure ensures better performance, range, and safety.

Brakes

Brakes are crucial for your safety. Check their functionality, cable condition, and that all components are tightened. If something doesn’t work, visit a service center.

How to clean your scooter properly?

Keep your scooter clean and dry. Use a dry or slightly damp cloth, never wash it under a strong stream of water. Let it dry thoroughly after cleaning.

Battery care – the heart of your scooter

🔹 Keep the battery charged between 30–80% for maximum lifespan
🔹 Use only the original charger approved by the manufacturer
🔹 Always fully charge the battery before the first ride and after a long break
🔹 After each ride, we recommend recharging the battery – don’t leave it discharged
🔹 Before winter, charge the battery to 60–80%
🔹 Even during long periods of inactivity, check the battery at least once every 3 months and recharge if necessary
🔹 Do not leave the scooter connected to the charger longer than necessary to fully charge
🔹 Failure to follow battery care instructions can lead to damage and loss of warranty
