When we introduced WatchY4 in the fall of 2024, we were thrilled at how quickly it found its place on children’s wrists across the Czech Republic and Slovakia. Within just a few months, it became the best-selling and top-rated kids’ GPS watch. But for us, that was definitely not the final goal—more like the starting line.
Since then, we’ve made a lot of improvements that make WatchY4 even more reliable, durable, and user-friendly. Here’s an overview of the most important updates.
More Accurate Tracking with PinPoint 2.0
The new generation of PinPoint 2.0 technology prioritizes precise GPS tracking. And if the location is ever off, you can manually correct it using available WiFi access points.

All our models now feature hardened Gorilla Glass, which resists scratches and rough handling. The watches can handle everyday adventures on the playground with ease.
More Comfortable Wearing with a New Strap
The WatchY4 Plus comes with an improved strap that fits better, feels more comfortable, and stays secure even during sports activities.
New This Year: Round WatchY4 Sport
We’ve expanded the lineup with a brand-new round model, WatchY4 Sport.
It’s sleeker, lighter, and designed for kids who want a watch that looks more like an adult smartwatch.
Enhanced LAMAX Connect App
To make controlling the watch even easier and more accurate, we’ve redesigned the LAMAX Connect app.
New features include:
- The ability to correct a mislocated position on the map via WiFi access points
- Integration of GPS history up to 7 days back
- Fixes for certain app crashes in specific situations
